TLIC3004 Drive Heavy Rigid Vehicle

HR Licence allows the holder to drive a Heavy Rigid vehicle – more than 8 tonne Gross Vehicle Mass (no axle limit) +/- trailer (max 9 tonne Gross Vehicle Mass). 

Assessments conducted by assessors on-site.

Requirements to this Course

• You must hold a full C class driver’s license for two years to qualify for an HR license.

• Or a Light Rigid (LR class) or Medium Rigid (MR class) licence for at least one year.

• Complete the PDA eligibility  in accordance with the Department of Transport’s guidelines.

TLIC3005 Drive Heavy Combination Vehicle

HC Licence allows the holder to drive an HC vehicle that is attached to a semi-trailer or a trailer that has a gross vehicle mass exceeding 9 tonnes. 

Assessments conducted by assessors on-site.

Requirements to this Course

• The applicant must have held a Western Australian MR or HR licence for a 12-month period.

• Complete the PDA eligibility  in accordance with the Department of Transport’s guidelines.

TLIC4006 Drive Multi Combination Vehicle

MC Licence allows the holder to drive an MC vehicle that is attached to a combination of two or more trailers, each having a gross vehicle mass exceeding 9 tonnes. 

Assessments conducted by assessors on-site.

Requirements to this Course

• The applicant must have held a Western Australian HR licence for a 12-month or HC  Australian licence.

• Complete the PDA eligibility  in accordance with the Department of Transport’s guidelines.

• Obtaining an HC licence and gaining experience with a single caravan prior to applying for a Multi Combination licence is a logical progression.
